Design Plus Gallery presents a Ceramic Vase by Derik Van Beers. Deric has over 40 years of experience and is an exhibiting ceramic artist and spends his free time working in his ceramics studio and enjoying his dog, Roscoe. His current passion is bringing the ceramics arts to public schools as a member of CAB (Ceramics Arts of Berkeley). His candy skulls are well known and coveted for their bold message and undeniable provocative design. The skull has a cracked white finish and hand-painted in black, yellow, and green. Mixed elements of bottle tabs, pins, a bishop rook is all found along with the bold message Waiting for Something Better. The vase bares his signature on the face and is dated 2005. It is in good condition for its usage with minimal wear.
