Each canvas is heavily layered with an antiqued patina of reds, creams and ochre. An aura of yellow radiates from the center. About Artist:
“I have been a painter, printmaker, and fiber artist for more than forty years. I grew up in the Deep South and have lived in the Bay Area since earning an MFA from UCB in 1983. I have shown extensively in San Francisco, Boston and New York and have pieces in several public collections.

After taking a sabbatical from the commercial art world, for the past fifteen years my work has been reformed and focused since I began using a Buddhist conceptual model which provides me with a redirected spiritual context.”
