Design Plus Gallery presents a Light Extending Table by De La Esapda. Designed and crafted by Mathew Hilton. Reflecting his interest in the concept of ‘impossible lightness,’ where he tries to create the feeling of greater spaciousness in a room by reducing the visual weight of his furniture. Surprisingly slender, this table features a chamfered edge and a cantilevered leg with complex joinery. Crafted in a walnut, visible discoloration due to sun exposure. Two extensions are original finish, darker shade than table. Minor condition on surface and pedestals.
