Design Plus Gallery presents “Pastoral View From the Studio” Oil on Linen Painting by David C. Stewart. A native of North Carolina, David Stewart is known for works of classic realism, as well as some modernist pieces. He received his first art instruction through drawing classes he attended as a child, later going on to receive a degree in Art History and Anthropology from the University of Tennessee in 1974. Stewart continued his study of art at New York’s Art Students League, beginning in 1978. The wonderful oil painting is titled as exactly what he saw as creation. A pasture on a heavenly clouded blue sky with autumnal colored trees outside of his artist studio. Carved professional frame. The artwork is in good condition for its usage.
