Design Plus Gallery has a Custom Designed Karjala Lounge Chair. This Chair was designed by Ironies. Kate McIntye & Brad Huntzinger formed Ironies in the late 80’s. Being unable to find the environments and furnishings they envisioned, the designers set about creating them. Their early hand-painted business evolved into a full furniture line known for its unique designs, esoteric materials and comfortable, organic feeling. Noted design writer and lecturer Diane Seeks has called Kate & Brads work “some of the most elegant and creative designs to be seen in national showrooms. New products leap from their imagination like sparks of fire” . The frame of the chair is a espresso finish, upholstered in a textured and contemporary pattern fabric. The nail head trim is a brushed pewter finish.
