Designs Plus Gallery presents a Pierre Frey Upholstered Louis XV Bergère Cabriole Chair. This chair gives you that unhinged maximalist effect without being garish. The chair has a gold gilt frame with molded carvings and style reminiscent of Louis XVI with an updated material that is well known and received. This goldenrod and brown rectangular print is actually thick and firm fabric. It is a very soft and supple jacquard fabric without hardness, and faithfully reproduces Native American blankets and feels the warmth of wool and alpaca. The chair and upholstery have a red piped trim to join the wood and fabric at the frame. Overall the chair is in good condition with minimal signs of wear for its usage.
