The painting shows a view of Mouriès, in Baux-de-Provence valley, the Moulin Saint Michel. The building shown has been transforming olives harvested by the olive growers of the Alpilles. The ancient mill is a feature in culture and well respected across the world. The artwork was purchased in the late 1990’s from the artists own showroom, directly. His signature is on the lower left side. It is encased in an exception gold frame with multiple layers of matte with museum glass.
