Circa 1997 David Goode “Super Model” Bronze Sculpture Limited Edition 5 of 11

Design Plus Gallery presents a Circa 1997 “Super Model” Bronze Sculpture by David Goode. Limited Edition 5 of 11. An abstract, Brutalist-inspired bronze sculpture that distills the human figure into an elongated, elegantly austere silhouette. Its surface is richly textured and irregular, catching light across a patinated tint of midnight blue. Gold-finished textured rings wrap and orbit the form, introducing a dynamic rhythm that both accentuates the vertical sweep and creates a striking contrast against the deep blue patina. Mounted on a round black marble base that grounds the composition, this work balances raw materiality with refined gesture—an arresting, modern statement piece that invites contemplation from every angle. Certificate of Authenticity for “Supermodel”.

“David Goode was born in 1966 and raised in Staffordshire. He trained at The Sir Henry Doulton School of Sculpture where he specialised in portrait and figurative sculpture.
In 1988 he was offered a position as portrait sculptor at the Studios of Madame Tussauds in London. At 21 he was the youngest sculptor ever to have worked there.
In 1994 David became a freelance sculptor, taking on private commissions and exhibiting his own work. In the same year he was accepted into The Royal Society of British Sculptors.
In 1998 he opened his own studio gallery. Now extended, the gallery displays over thirty bronzes, and attracts collectors from all over the world.
