Design Plus Gallery presents the Bon Voyage Miss I. Magnin Doll from the Alexander Doll Company of New York. I. Magnin, known for its high-end fashion and elegant atmosphere. The store was founded in San Francisco in the late 19th century by Mary Ann and Isaac Magnin and became a prominent retailer, particularly known for importing European designer clothing. The store was later acquired by Macy’s and closed in 1995. The dolls were an ideal gift of that era. The Little Miss Bon Voyage Doll is #1,436 of the 2,500 limited editions made in 1995, their last year of operation. Comes with original teddy bear, travel cast, wrist tag and in its original box. In good condition, minimal wear from age and little to no use.
