The poster celebrates the 1984 reopening of the Wheeler Opera House in Aspen, Colorado following its restoration. The historic Opera House had opened in 1889 from a design by Willoughby J. Edbrooke that blends elements of the Romanesque Revival and Italianate architectural styles. The poster is an offset lithograph in colors, signed by the artist Red Grooms (1937- ). In good condition, minimal wear from usage.
