Circa 1983 Henriot Quimper French Faience Serve-Ware, Set of Thirty-One

Design Plus Gallery presents Set of Thirty-One French Faience Serve-ware by Henriot Quimper. These are all handmade pieces with hand-painted florals + botanical sprigs across a bone yellow background that is framed by green with red banding encircled a black rim. The set includes this assortment of serving and tea pieces: a teapot, a covered tureen, a creamer, a lidded sugar bowl, a two-handled vessel, multiple handled cups, and a mix of plates and small dishes. Gloss-glazed faience gives each piece a smooth surface while preserving the character of hand-painted brushwork and slight variation from piece to piece. They are each signed by artist + numbered. They are in good condition with two saucer plates having a chips more pronounced then the usual visible and minimal wear from usage. Made in France.
