Design Plus Gallery presents a Pair of Vintage “Winter in Aizu” Woodblock Prints by Kiyoshi Saito (1907-1997). Evoking a sense of serenity, the pair feature both day and night townscapes in the quiet of winter. Known for his work in the Soak Hanga movement, these are a part of his ongoing series depicting landscapes in his hometown in the Fukushima Prefecture of Japan over the period of 1938-1944. Little wear; conditions are good.
