He studied art at the Bezalel Academy of art in Jerusalem, as well as at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts. Picasso, Cezanne and Gaugin are his idols, and the power of Mexican art has a deep fascination for him. He enjoys working in clay but finds painting in oil his greatest outlet for stories he has to tell though his pictures. His paintings have been displayed by Arts International in galleries across the country since the fall of 1965.
