Design Plus Gallery presents a French Rococo Style Fireplace Screen from the 1930’s. The decorative fireplace screen brings ornamental character to any hearth or display setting. It is composed of a hinged mesh panel framed in solid brass metal, accented by intricate scrolling garlands across the top. Anchoring each side are sculptural andirons with flowing, classical lines that give the screen a strong architectural presence. The folding construction allows for flexible placement, whether positioned in front of a fireplace, used as a decorative divider, or styled as an accent piece in a traditional or eclectic interior. The set has never been used in front of a lit fireplace and is in good condition for its near antique age.
