Chinoiserie Black Lacquer Four-Panel Folding Screen
$599
Design Plus Gallery presents a Vintage Asian Chinoiserie Black Lacquer Four-Panel Folding Screen. This decorative screen showcases intricate raised landscape scenes across four hinged panels, depicting traditional pagodas, mountainous landscapes, trees, flowing waterways, and architectural elements. The glossy black lacquered surfaces are accented by gold-toned detailing, with intricate geometric borders framing each composition. The reverse sides display delicate gold-painted botanical motifs, including bamboo and flowering branches. Brass-toned hinges connect the four panels, allowing the screen to fold into various configurations. It is in good condition, there is visible wear and scratches on backside of the screen.
