The square embroidered panel has a golden peasant in its center which is the symbol of the fifth rank of civil official in the court of the Qing Dynasty. The bird is surrounded by scrolling clouds, waves, peonies, and borders by archaic pattern. The textile is encased in a metal frame with chinoiserie latch to proudly hand for display. It is in good condition for its usage.
