Design Plus Gallery presents a set of six Eames Plastic Armchair DAR Chairs designed by Charles and Ray Eames from Vitra. Each chair has a sculptural molded black plastic shell incorporating curved arms and a contoured seat. The shells are supported by chrome-plated steel rod bases in the recognizable Eiffel configuration associated with the DAR model. The underside retains Vitra and Eames markings, and the manufacturer label dates the chairs to 2014. This enduring mid-century design was originally introduced in 1950 and remains one of the Eames most recognizable seating forms. This is a discontinued model with the brand, and they are in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage. Made in Germany.
