Design Plus Gallery presents an Original Painting by 19th Century Painter Charles Étienne Corpet. Corpet, who lived in Paris, was a French floral painter and lithographer. He studied under the direction of Lesourd de Beauregard and Maisiat at the Salon de Paris from 1857-1903. He also practiced lithography under the direction fo Sirouy. Today, Corpet’s works are displayed at Museums in Gray and Saint-Etienne in France. This lovely painting is ornately framed and all is in good condition for its antique age + use.
