Design Plus Gallery presents a Set of Six of Spyder Base Fiberglass Side Chairs from Modernica. They are created in the style of Charles and Ray Eames. This set has the distinctive Spyder base, masterfully crafted from 16 layers of North American wood molded to precise form. The sculptural base is composed of two intersecting spars constructed of maple ply, elegantly contoured and finished between two layers of walnut veneer. The molded fiberglass shells are colored in their Indigo that complements the organic wood base and highlights the chair’s classic mid-century silhouette. In good condition, visible and minimal wear from usage. Made in the USA.
