Cameroon Grassfields Bamileke Beaded Standing Figures, Pair
$999
Design Plus Gallery presents a pair of Cameroon Grassfields Bamileke Beaded Standing Figures. Depicting a male and female, the carved wooden figures are extensively covered in glass seed beads arranged in red, blue, yellow, and white bands with curved geometric patterns. Cowrie shells adorn the headdresses and border the lower panels, while exposed wooden faces and feet display individually carved details. The pair exhibits minor bead loss consistent with age and handling. They are in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage, minimal loss of beads.
