The chair has a curved back that wraps invitingly around its two sides. The back is adorned with a distinctive vase-shaped splat, showcasing the detailed craftsmanship similar to Chippendale revival styles. Two of the chair’s legs reveal evidence of its journey through time: one leg has a glued repair, while another has a screwed reinforcement, both sturdy and testament to the care taken to preserve this antique. The upholstered seat is burnt orange over a neutral background. This corner chair remains a decorative and functional accent and embodies the craftsmanship of Victorian era furniture making it a find for collectors and admirers of period antiques.
