Antique French Louis XVI Round Arm Chair With Red/Purple Upholstery

Design Plus Gallery presents a Red + Purple Striped Arm Chair of an Antique Age. Well known style of Louis XVI with an updated upholstery of cotton weave that has alternating stripes of the same width in imperial jewel tones of red + purple. The Fauteuil armchair has with carved tapered legs that retains old traces of paint over exposed wood. There are two matching down throw pillows for seat cushioning (no button) and back cushion (with button) in the same material as the chair. The chair was purchased over twenty years ago from the Hills Brother Mansion in San Francisco prior to their selling of it in the mid 2000’s. The chair is in good condition for its antique age.
