Design Plus Gallery presents an Antique Map of Poland in Auburn Toned Wooden Frame. Old coloured antique map of Silesia by Johannes Janssonius. Showing the area between Frankfurt Oder in the northwest, via Crossen (Krosno Odrzańskie), Glogau (Głogów), Freiberg, Brieg (Brzeg), Ratibor (Racibórz), Opava (Troppau) and Kraków (Krakau) in the southeast. Wrocław (Braslau) in the centre. Top right a beautiful title cartouche below a legend with mileage scale and a divider. From the Mercator-Hondius-Janssonius Atlas, published by H. Hondius in 1633. French text on verso. Is in good condition with minimal wear for its usage.
