Design Plus Gallery presents an Antique European Pine Two-Piece Hutch Cabinet, Circa 1830. Dating to the early 19th century, this tall pine cabinet displays traditional provincial construction and period detailing. The upper section has a molded cornice above two glass-paneled doors, opening to multiple interior shelves. Carved foliate accents frame the facade, while turned supports elevate the upper cabinet above the lower case. The base includes two drawers above a pair of raised-panel cabinet doors accented by decorative metal escutcheons. Turned bun feet support the case, and the visible pine grain, knots, age markings, and hand-worked details contribute to its antique character. There are notable chips and losses along the upper cornice, including heavier wear along the top edges and corners. Additional wear includes scratches, dents, surface abrasions, staining, age-related cracks, old wormholes, and areas of wood loss throughout.
