Design Plus Gallery presents an Antique Chinese Wood Carved Back Arm Chair. Signed by the artist in the bottom of the seat and inspired from 19th Century China. Back has a intricately medallion carved into the splat with decorative motifs. Arms are slenderly carved. Cloud motifs surround the seat and continue into the arm silhouettes. Dark stain brings out richness of wood and carving. Frame could use reinforcement.
