Antique Chinese Six Panel Screen

Design Plus Gallery presents an Antique Chinese Six Panel Screen. The panels were constructed with wood in a lacquer finish and connected with hardware. The backs of the panels show a large botanical scene over a black background. The panels’ front tops feature gold colored shapes; rounded trapezoids in the middle screens and circles with multiply curved edges. The overall front border is adorned with a gold-like circle pattern with dragon motifs. On the front bottom are rectangle-like curved shapes in which floral accents are presented. A more condensed botanical scene is in the front’s field, with ample ducks, flowers and viney botanics. Minor wear from use; screen is in good condition.
