Cap53, designed by Angelo Mangiarotti for AgapeCasa, are vases made from bronze casting using a lost-wax mold, with external surfaces treated with a hot-applied silver nitrate patina and polished internal surface and edges. The interaction of fluid volumes define this stunning bronze vase set. The addition of silver nitrate creates a characteristic patina that contrasts with the brushed, luminous glow of its interior. In addition to the sale of this set a Certificate of Authenticity and an Artist Book is included. Light pitting is revealed and condition is good, consistent with age and use.
