About the Artist:
Dario Campanile (b. 1948) began his artistic path in Rome, where an early encounter with oil paints led to a lifelong dedication to art. His abilities were recognized by Salvador Dalí, who referred to him as the “Roman Master,” as well as Giorgio de Chirico. His career includes the creation of Paramount Pictures’ mountain logo in 1986 and participation in The Missing Peace project, during which he painted the Dalai Lama from life. His work has progressed from realism and surrealism into abstract expressionism, where he continues to develop his artistic voice.
