The cut-out design is achieved using a CNC machine, with the corners then hand-sanded for a smooth finish. The panel is primed using white then black paint, and a two-part epoxy resin is applied to create a final glossy layer. This particular piece is made from basswood, selected for its fine and uniform characteristics, limited wood grain, and proven stability over time. In good condition with minor surface wear.
