Design Plus Gallery presents a Vintage Reproduction Print of Waverley Cycles Advert, 1898, by Alphonse Mucha. Alfons Maria Mucha (1860 -1939) was a Czech Art Nouveau painter, illustrator and graphic artist with a recognizable and in-demand style. Waverley Cycles Poster is an American-manufactured bicycle, was shown symbolically by having the rather resolute young lady leaning on an anvil and holding in her hand a branch of laurel leaves (prized). The Harry Reynaud mentioned on the poster was the director for Waverly Cycles in France. The print is professionally matted and framed to great effect.
