Aliel Saarinen Cranbrook Chairs, a Pair

Design Plus Gallery presents a Pair of Crabrook Chairs by Aliel Saarinen (1873-1950). Designed in 1929, the chairs were reissued in 1983, manufactured in Finland by Adelta. The pair have a dramatic silhouette that is lacquered in a deep teal green and inset with gilt triangles. Signed with foil label on the underside of each chair. Frames in nice original condition with light wear and one scratch. Fabric in good original condition with light wear.
