Ahwahnee China Tenaya Baron Dinnerware, Set of Fourteen

Design Plus Gallery presents a Set of Fourteen Ahwahnee China Tenaya Baron Dinnerware from the Ahwahnee Hotel. The dinner service plates at the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite National Park feature a distinctive ivory body with a black and rust (or brown) geometric design. This iconic pattern was based on a logo created by Jeannette Dyer-Spencer for the hotel’s 1927 opening, inspired by a California Indian basket pattern known as the “Three-Legged Indian,” which represents the elements of earth, rain, and fire. There are four of each bowls, plates, and cups with two salad plates to round out the set. they show visible wear from usage but overall good with no chips. Made in the USA.
