Design Plus Gallery presents the Arco Floor Lamp by Achille + Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos. An icon of Italian industrial design, the Arco has remained in continuous production since its debut, celebrated for its elegant arcing form and functional overhead lighting without the need for a ceiling fixture. The light fixture has a white Carrara marble base and a satin-finish stainless steel telescopic stem. Its heavy marble base acts as a counterweight and includes the signature hole designed for easy lifting with a broom handle, while the adjustable stem and spun aluminum shade provide versatility and balance. The Arco lamp is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. In good condition, visible patina and marking and minimal wear from usage. Made in Italy.
