Abstract Acrylic on Canvas
SOLD!
Design Plus Gallery presents a Mid 20th Century Abstract Impasto Oil on Canvas artist unknown. This expressive abstract painting displays a layered composition with cream, ochre, burgundy, slate blue, green, and umber tones. The heavy impasto texture gives the canvas visible dimension, with gestural movement throughout the surface. The reverse side includes handwritten markings that appear to read “Woodstock, New York,” along with an original price notation and “will accept reasonable bid.” This artwork is unframed and shows age to the canvas, edge wear, scattered surface marks, and minor paint losses along the perimeter. It is in good condition; visible and minimal wear from usage.
