Design Plus Gallery presents a 9ft 4in x 12ft Bokhara Area Rug. This hand-woven rug has a complicit geometric border flanked by multi-layered guard bands and finished with traditional white wool fringes at both ends. This tribal rug was made in Pakistan had has the repeating Elephant’s Foot, or Tekke, motifs repeating in its center that are arranged in parallel vertical columns across a rich, vibrant red-to-rust field. The fringe is getting to be fragile and slowly pulling off in some placements but overall, the rug is in good condition.
