The rug has individual tree depictions seen inside the grid compartments that represent the sacred Tree of Life, or Baktiari. The motif symbolizes eternal life, renewal, and the connection between heaven and earth. The rug is renowned for its construction and detailed, dense knotting. The area rug is in good overall condition with minimal signs of wear for its vintage usage.
