5ft 9in × 8ft 5in Shahsavan Style Area Rug
$799
Design Plus Gallery presents a 5ft 9in × 8ft 5in Area Rug with Shahsavan Style. This area rug is a masterclass in nomadic textile art. Woven by the historically powerful Shahsavan nomadic confederation of northwestern Iran and the southern Caucasus. This type of rug is globally celebrated for their striking geometric precision, deeply encoded tribal symbols, and specialized weaving techniques. Unlike the delicate curvilinear floral designs found in urban Persian court carpets, Shahsavan rugs feature a rugged, bold, and heavily abstract aesthetic. It has some light staining to the wool and is overall in good condition.
