Design Plus Gallery presents a French Metal Grape Hood from the 19th Century. The basket is meant for grape harvesting. The vessel has two original leather straps, used to help the workers carry it on their back allowing for an easier harvest. Naturally aged with a beautiful warm patina, the hood would make a lovely focal piece hanging on a wall filled with a bouquet of dried botanicals, or used as a planter in any room of the home of restaurant.
