19th Century Faience Tortoise & Hare Ceramic Figurine

Design Plus Gallery presents a Vintage Faience Hare & Tortoise Faience Figurine, 19th Century. This style is a type of French pottery of the late 16th and early 17th centuries; an homage to bianchi di Faenza, a sparsely decorated Faenza majolica. Glass eyed Lepin is resting during the competition, on his competitor. Little wear; good condition.
