19th Century Ethiopian Wedding Chair

Design Plus Gallery presents the 19th Century Ethiopian Wedding Chair. The chair is hand-carved from wood, and the seat is made of woven strips of leather. The legs thicken at the bottom, making them appear like hooves. This chair has only one armrest, likely because a matching wedding chair was symmetrically designed and center armrests were intentionally not added. Condition is consistent with age. Lovely as an accent art piece.
