Design Plus Gallery presents a Pair of 19th Century Decorative Hand Carved + Gilded Screens + Light Pedestals. Screens are double sided with sculptural carvings on the both sides. One shows a bustling village scene with figures and the other a Chinoiserie pond setting lush with bird and botanical life. The pedestals are lacquered to match the rich burgundy tone of the screens. Switches on the back control the lighting which is illuminated behind plastic panels. There is visible wear through out the screens + pedestals, screens are in good condition.
