Design Plus Gallery presents the “Archetype” Oval Extension Dining Table, designed by Michael Vanderbyl for Baker Furniture. This contemporary table is inspired by the Art Deco period. Handcrafted, the top is beautifully figured warm-toned primavera wood veneer, often referred to as white mahogany, with striking instances of dynamic chatoyance throughout. The legs are square with a taper, but are missing casters for feet. The table extends to lovely proportion with two leaves. Light visible scratches, small nicks on legs + minor wear consistent with age + use; table is in good condition.
