1970’s Thonet 209 Bentwood Chairs, Set of Eight

Design Plus Gallery presents a Set of Eight 1970’s #209 Bentwood Chairs by Thonet. The frames are constructed with beech wood and given a medium walnut stain. The seatings are caned. The back supports are symmetrically bent. The legs are rounded; the back legs are subtly curved. Minor wear consistent with age + use; chairs are in good condition. Two chairs are in a slightly lighter finish purchased separately from the set of six. Made in Poland.
