Design Plus Gallery presents a Pair of Mid 20th Century Nightstands by Dunbar. Designed by Edward Wormley (1907-1995). Manufactured by Dunbar in the 1950’s. Crafted with woods with a dark walnut finish. Each table has a single pullout drawer over a cubby, each with four square raised legs. Original brass label’s in drawers. “Dunbar, Berne Indiana” Natural wear on surface and frame. Suitable as a nightstands or side tables. Made in U.S.A.

About Designer:
“Edward Wormley was an American designer of modern furniture. In 1926 he went to study briefly at the Art Institute of Chicago. Funds ran out and he went to work as an interior designer for Marshall Fields & Company department store. During the Depression, Wormley was introduced to the president of Dunbar Furniture Company of Berne, Indiana, who hired him to upgrade their product”
