Design Plus Gallery presents a set of 10 Ming Dynasty Processional Figures. From the Min Dynasty, 1368 A.D. to 1644 A.D. OriginL Shanxi Province, China. A set of ten early period Chinese tomb pottery figures of precessional attendants with the principle make and email pair. Four Male sedan attendants, a sedan chair and a horse attended by two grooms. The piece are skillfully modeled and sculptured of very hard buff pottery and have good detailing to the long robes with tied waits and the tall hatted figures. These are glazed green and dark yellow brown. The heads of the figures remove as is typical to the type. The detailing on the face is unglazed executed in gold pigments. There is a very good patina of age and exposure. Minor repairs may be found in these early period examples of type. Custom clear acrylic bases were made for the figures. Comes with Certificate of Authenticity.
