Design Plus Gallery presents Signed “Fleurs” Painting by Mary Malcolm-Kluge (1910–2003). This floral still life depicts an arrangement of blossoms rising from a glass vase against an expressive yellow-green background. Thick applications of paint create pronounced texture throughout the petals, foliage, vase, and surrounding field, giving the composition a distinctly painterly character. The arrangement incorporates ivory, yellow, lavender, burgundy, and green tones, while loose brushwork and layered impasto emphasize the individual forms of the flowers. The artist’s signature appears at the lower left of the canvas.
