Lads “Rothko” Abstract Canvas Painting
SALE!
$899 $809
Design Plus Gallery presents a Signed “Rothko” Painting from LADS. Inspired by the color-field compositions associated with Mark Rothko, the work is arranged in broad horizontal passages of red, burnt orange, burgundy, brown, and muted ochre. Soft transitions between the layered tones create an atmospheric composition, while the narrow horizontal band dividing the upper and lower sections establishes a strong visual structure. The artist’s LADS monogram appears in the lower right corner of the canvas. The large-scale work is presented as an unframed gallery-wrapped canvas, allowing the painted surface to continue to the edges. Its tonal arrangement and expansive fields of color reference mid-century Abstract Expressionism and Color Field painting. It is in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage.
