Design Plus Gallery presents a French Harp with Chinoiserie Motifs. This elegant, antique harp was likely made in France at the turn of the 19th century. It has a fluted column that is embellished at the neck with gilded floral and leaf decor. The base decorated with acanthus leaf motifs, is mounted on a scalloped plinth base. The Louis XV style music instrument is in very good condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich walnut patina finish with colorful hand painted Chinese people motifs.
