Design Plus Gallery presents a Navy Bar Stool from Emeco. The 1006 Navy Chair was originally created in 1944 for the US Navy as a lightweight, non-corrosive, fire resistant and super strong chair for ships and submarines. It was built by hand from 80% recycled aluminum in Hanover, Pennsylvania and works both for indoor or outdoor use. It has visible wear to the metal that is consistent with regular usage.
