Antique Chinese Red Lacquered Chest Side Tables, Pair
SOLD!
Design Plus Gallery presents a Pair of Antique Chinese Red Lacquered Chests. Striking and versatile, this matching pair of Chinese chests is crafted from solid wood and finished in a red lacquer. Each chest features intricate, painted gold designs depicting traditional Asian scenes set against a black lacquer ground, creating a beautiful contrast and a refined, collected look. The cases are raised on legs with carved aprons highlighted in gold, adding sculptural elegance and a touch of grandeur. The tops lift to reveal generous interior storage—perfect for stowing linens, books, or everyday essentials—while the metal hardware in a dark finish provides a handsome, understated accent. Ideal as nightstands or side tables, these chests bring color, pattern, and function to any room. In good condition, visible and minimal wear from usage.
